One year ago today I had my MAZE procedure. I had one instance of a-fib a few days after the surgery and have been in NSR since. I made the mistake of not sticking with a good excerise program and diet after the surgery. I have gained about 45 pounds. Over the last few months I find now that if I get get a little too active with the heat and humidity here in Atlanta that I'll start throwing some PAC's for awhile. I still take Quinidex and a low dose of atacand because the LA is still enlarged. The moral is don't get lazy after your MAZE. I'm back on my diet as of today and starting a regular excerise program to get the ticker back in top shape. I think a number of us have had a few problems with PAC's for the first 12 to 18 months. No a-fib, just PAC's, but they are annoying enough. Any common experiences?
