Jean and everyone, I have been with my daughter back in Michigan for two weeks so I have missed all of the posts. Jean, I live in Ventura and had my maze at CC in January of 2001 which was extremely successful for me. Just to let you know that I visited Dr. Gaudiani when I was researching all of this and I found him to be very helpful and competent. I could have chosen him but I was so nervous that I made the decision to go where they did the greatest number of these so I flew from out here to CC to have Dr. McCarthy do it. This is a great choice if your insurance and your job will allow it. I do think that Dr. Gaudiani is a very good choice. As far as ablations are concerned, from what I know about what's happening in that area, I would go to CC as they seem to have the latest equipment and the most science. However, money and time does come into play. Best of luck.
