Mental problems following MAZE

I have chronic afib and I am considering the MAZE procedure. One concern is the use of the heart lung machine during surgery. There have been several recent reports of people losing mental sharpness, memory loss, and losing their ability to concentrate long term. Have any of you MAZE graduates out their experienced anything like that? paul
