I hope you have a great time at your daughter's wedding!
As for the Maze procedure, the fear of major surgery and its consequences was nowhere near the level of fear that I experienced on a daily basis, worrying about going into a-fib. I'm not saying that the surgery is a breeze; it's not. For me, the statistics relating to a cure, the confidence I had in my Doctors at the Cleveland Clinic, and the support and encouragement of my local family physician gave me enough courage to go forward. Thank God! I now feel so much freedom to live my live to the fullest, for the first time in many years without the fear of a-fib.
