Second step coming

The second stage is coming for my maze. I will be going to Boise, Idaho on August 12 for the angiogram. Then the maze will be scheduled soon after that. This is really a big step for me. Until I was diagnosed with afib I had never spent a night in the hospital and had very little blood drawn. Now it is not a daily occurance, but quite often. That will be a busy week with a wedding on the 8th. Receptions on the evening of the 8th and 9th and off to Boise for the 12th. We live in southern Idaho just above Logan Utah and Boise is almost on the western border of Idaho. Have to be back for a doctor appointment for my wife on the 14th. With an optomoligist scheduled 3 months in advance so we can't miss that.

I want to thank Jack Drum for creating this web site and all the work he does on it. His prayers for us and his calls to us. He is an insperation to us all.
I want to thank Carl Plaskett for his posts. Carl I think so many decide to go the maze route because of you folks. All our questions are answered by reading the board. All the info is here it just has to be absorbed. And when absorbed there is only one answer. Live like you are or go for the maze surgery.
Tim Hawkins, Terry Gahn, Ed Wehan and many others keep the board going and answer questions. I have really not found a question that has not been answered by reading. And a lot of answers to questions I have not thought of yet.

On the afib board Mary-Wa says the Mazers are couragous and perhaps risk takers. She stated that so far she is chicken. She is fortunate to be somewhat controlled. But I wonder where she would be if chronic and feeling not so good all the time. I think maybe it is part desperation to feel better and lets take the chance
