Dear Kristine,

I had a valve repair and a maze 8 weeks ago and after a bumpy recovery and a second visit to the Mayo Clinic, I am finally doing fine. From everything I have read earlier heart surgeries do not preclude having the MAZE and as you will see as you read this board, virtually everyone gets through the process and even thrives. You will too! In going to the CC you will be getting the best. Just keep your hope alive. Help is on the way. You will be in my prayers.
