Pete, after my maze they tried Rhythmol and I developed Torsades de Pointes which is a serious arrythmia. I went off of it immediately and went on amiodarone which I had been on for a period of time prior to the maze. At seven weeks, all erratic heart beats were gone and I went off of the amiodarone and have never looked back. I had no problem with this drug but we are all different.
Carl's post from Dr. Cox is just wonderful. I want to know more and hope that at some gathering we can hear some more about it.
