Sandy: It's good to hear that you are in NSR, but I'm sure sorry to hear that you have had so much trouble. I would hope that your surgeon is giving some input/advice for post-maze care, since this is part of your "outcome". It isn't supposed to be this way, and few people have had any complications other than infections. Did you have the "mini-maze" which required deflating your right lung to access your heart, or was it the open-chest routine?
