Dear Henry,

Yes, I'm Anne!

Thank you so much for your reply and also thanks to the others who replied to my post. It is good for me that someone has had the same problem and especially hopeful that you are having something done about it. I wish you success with it and hope it does the trick. Since I am new to this (I never expected to have problems post op!), what is an ablation? Also, I've been told that Rhythmol is something I'd never want to take. What is supposed to be so bad about Amiodrone? I am now taking a double dose for a week to see if the heart rate can be brought under control. My cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic says that is all I could take. I am also wondering if another cardioversion would bring the P waves back. I am trying to be as quiet as possible (hard for me) in the hopes that the healing can occur before I reach my limit of Amiodrone. I'm trying to remain hopeful but it's hard. I am fit and healthy, not overweight so coping with this post op let down is hard to take and I sincerely hope I'll get some solution soon. I admire your courage that kept you going for 8 months.
