Anne,

I had my Maze 12-4-01. I'm 6 months post Maze. As others have said a high heart rate is not uncommon. Mine was about 105 -115 post Maze. Pre Maze was about 60. I took a small amount of beta blocker as needed.

I'm now back to about 68-72 resting. I think exercise is really good. I'm not sure about why your on amiodarone. However, I bet your heart rate comes back down.
