Update us as you reduce your flecainide so we know how you are doing. I'm confident that you are about done with it if you have gone 2 months with no errant beats.

I certainly used to have the same flying experience, and had to skip a convention in Hawaii 6 months before my maze, since I always would go into afib on a flight more than an hour and I knew the flight from Florida would be continuous afib. Since my maze, including the 3 hour trip home from the CC maze surgery, I have flown as much as 8 hours non-stop, and had NO afib. What a difference to be afib and drug free!
