Does your doctor still think that "the maze didn't work", or is he still unwilling to "think outside the box". When you are off all meds and back to biking, I hope you are able to convince him that he should at least learn more up-to-date info on treating afib, and perhaps suggest that his patients contact you for some first-hand info. Your story, complete with the "bumps", is a good example of what CAN happen post-op, but the final result of NSR is nevertheless achieved.
