Three months post Maze

Three months ago (02/27/02) I had a quadruple by-pass and the Maze procedure done by Dr. McCarthy and his Team at the Cleveland Clinic. I did have some complications but have over come all of them and have been in NSR since March 22. I am off Betapace and on Toprol XL 50. I am back to work full time and doing cardio rehab 3 times a week. I work out at the gym and or walk nearly every day. Bicycling is on my list of things to do next week on vacation. Today is the first day I have done a good days work around the house and I am not drug out. I had my HR up to 123 last Wednesday and I felt good. It is a wonderful feeling to be AF free and in NSR. I am glad I had the Maze procedure done verses the pacemaker and medication the rest of my life.
