First, it's great to see another "upbeat" post from you, Angie. Your turnaround has been inspirational to us all!

While I agree that a PVA has a good chance of a cure IF it is done by someone with a good track record, using the latest techniques, such as your doctor at the Cleveland Clinic, where the success rate now seems to be in excess of 80%. A success rate of 40-50%, given the risks of stroke or stenosis associated with earlier ablation techniques (which are still used in lots of hospitals, I'm sure), would give me reason to question the technique, type of instrument, percentages of stroke and stenosis before I would agree to an ablation.
