I wanted to share my two cents too. I had a PVA 2 1/2 months ago. I have been AF free for all that time! I can run and play with my kids - I am even playing on our softball team. *Check out my previous messages or e-mail me personally. I don't know if I'm far enough "out" from my procedure to say I'm cured, but I will say that these two and a half months have been worth it even if that is all I get! Plus, as an added bonus, I've heard about getting a "touch up" ablation just in case the ol' ticker healed too well in a place allowing an errant current to get through - that if you have had that done your chance for a successful cure is huge. AND, even if this isn't permanent ... I can always have the MAZE to fall back on for a possible treatment in the future. I, personally, think the PVA has much to offer.
