Tim,

I'm about 5 1/2 months post Maze. I had some of the same things happen to me. I was on some Rythmol for PVC's and also Atenolol. These really would not let my heart rate increase.

I"m tyring some Tambocor for the PVC's now. My resting rate is about 68-72. I can easily get rate up to about 128-138. The recovery time is much faster than even 5-6 weeks ago.

It seems it just took time for me and getting off the Rythmol and Atenolol.
