I know that the study results for Beta Blockers for congestive heart failure and MI patients are extremely compelling. My point is that many docs are putting all of their patients that have any heart problem on a beta blocker and ACE inhibitor just because it might help, not just those that have congestive heart failure or have had an MI. The aspirin therapy has proven benefical accross the board.
