Better and better...

I went through my annual (yearly?) post-Maze (February -99) stress test on Wednesday this week. The test involves riding a test-bike for as long as you can keep up the pace (between 60 and 70 pedal revolutions per minute (?) or whatever it's called) or when you've had enough - whatever comes first :-). The resistence (measured in Watts) is increased with 30W each minute. I managed to go on to 390W (it took me roughly 11 minutes worth of pedaling) before the legs - not the heart! - went out...Anyway, the main thing here is that I improved last year's result with a substantial amount. The improved test result is consistent with the noted steadily improving running form. (And I also again proved that I'm a better runner than biker...:-)) The week after next I've got my doctor's appointment. He'll do an ultrasonic on me to find out that everything is fine (which I'm sure it is) and to check whether the "inflexibility" in the heart's structure has improved (which I'm equally sure it has). Next week I'm off for a short Easter break with Nordic Skiing on the last of this season's snow! Take care y'all!
Best regards,
Anders
