I am only 22 days post Maze. This subject interests me. Before the Maze I had PACs sometimes while in NSR. If they got too close together, I might kick into afib. I never recorded PVCs before the Maze that I know of. After the Maze for the first few days I had a lot of PVCs that I noticed on the hospital monitor. At about day 7 I went back into afib and was put on drugs (Rythmol and a beta blocker) I never noticed another PVC after I started the drugs. At day 22 no PVCs and NO AFIB. I know that the FAA considers less than 6 PVCs per min to be OK or normal as long as other problems are not detected. I could certainly feel each PVC!
