Woah! Do I know about problems with insurance coverage! If you have a referral from your doctor and that is all it will take, you have it pretty easy. However, if your insurance co. is denying you, you will have to ask for them to make an exception - and what really helped me on my most recent insurance coverage denial, was to have my doc. at CC write the insurance referral consultant explaining why my procedure had to be done and why it had to be done there. They need to know details and why it pertains to your condition .. why it has to be done at CC. And believe me, in my experience, those docs at CC don't have a problem helping with insurance co.s dragging their feet and you don't have to ask them twice why it needs to be done at CC.
