Mary Lou. Insurance can be difficult but normally Peg is pretty good about getting things done. I would probably go to the doctor's office tomorrow and ask this person for the referral. This is customer service and you are the customer! Ask her what you can do to help as the timing is so close. I can't believe that the doctor won't sign something at the last moment (but then I've been wrong before). Maybe, have Peg call her.
The good news is that the maze with its success has allowed my insurance company to now lower my premiums from high risk to a regular rate which is a savings of over $300/mo.
