I would not be concerned about the slightly elevated HR, since it takes awhile for exercise to get the heart flexible again, and it must work faster to pump it's normal blood volume (a LAYMAN'S description). I found the more I exercised, the higher I could get my rate, but I didn't try to get above 120 for a couple of months. At 3 months, my EP said to do whatever I wished.
I concur with your thanks to your partner, Vera. Without our spouses/partners during the whole ordeal, it would have been extra tough for us all. The reward for my wife, Barbara, is that I believe I am a whole lot easier to be around, now that I am healthy again. Looking back at how depressed and nasty I had become pre-maze, I wonder how she put up with me.
