Glad to hear you are out and doing well. I finally got away to SLC to visit - a few hours after you left.

Dr. Millar has several of his studies published that have links here. I'll publish a few more that I have in a short while.

In one of the studies it gives statistics about his MAZE patients and most of them have had the MAZE in conjunction with other more serious procedures. I think his MAZE statistics would be closer to 100% if the majority of his cases weren't complicated by the other serious heart problems.

He told me he was interested in a study of those who are (or could be) in relative good health except for Atrial Fibrillation. He was very pleased with the results of my MAZE and some other similar ones. Somewhere I read where he has done the most MAZE procedures of any doctors on the west coast.

I've been around doctors all my life (my father) and find Dr. Millar to be exceptional. Incredibly skillful, personable and truly seems to care about his patients and is excited by the results. It's not just a job to him.
