Tim, I am very happy to hear that you made it home with out any problems. That is great news as I was one of the concerned mazers. As you may remember I went into AF on the way home while waiting at the airport in Cleveland. Anyway it is just great to be home and so far we are both free of AF. As far as sleeping it was only the past two nights that I have been able to sleep on my left side for more than 5 minutes. I sleep on my back and right side. I have not had a problem of waking up sore. From my prospective it seems that time and healing will take away the pain. In the first few nights I tried Carls suggestion with the Temper pudic pillow but it didn't do much to help me. Up till the past 3-4 days I have only been sleeping about 4 hours then taking naps during the day. I have been walking up to 1.7 miles per day and now I am doing 15 minutes on the stationary bike. I hope to be doing more arm work this week. I am now 6.5 weeks post op and in NSR. At my cardic-rehab class they only allow me to take my HR up 20 points from where I start. When I walk outside of the class I follow the same guide line with my Polar monitor. Hope this will help a little. Harley
