Hang in there, Tim. My husband had a similar experience at CC. The Surgery and Cardiology departments do not get along very well and especially seem to disagree on post-Maze medicine. With my husband, they seemed shocked that he went into afib after surgery even though it's normal. (We mostly dealt with Dr. Miller, who was not much help at all.)I finally had to insist that my husband be put on Sotalol and thanks to one of the nurses, they listened to me. This was almost 2 years ago. I would have hoped they would have improved by now. My husband is afib and medicine free now. So try not to be concerned with what Dr. Razavi said.
