Yes, it's very standard. I was on Toprol and Aldactone for approximately three months after surgery. My sister was on those + rythmol because she also had an episode of a-fib before we left Cleveland. I waited a month before I had mine! But Toprol controlled my problems quite well. I know it's hard not to worry when these things happen, especially after undergoing open-heart surgery, but it will likely clear up.
