Gerald: I also experienced some elevated "resting" heart rate, and when I mentioned it to my EP, he cut the Rythmol with which the CC had discharged me to 75mg 3x/day. My resting HR is still not down to my pre-maze days, but I'm nowhere near my former triathlon weight of 10-15 years ago,but I'm heading that way with a diet now so I can get back to training.
I believe I remember others who have posted about anemia affecting their HR. You might check that out.
