Just a thought, from over 25 years in the life, health, and group insurance business: Don't change insurance carriers unless you know that you won't have a "pre-existing condition" waiting period OR exclusion, until you KNOW you are "cured". Regardless of what your coverage was for this procedure, you still probably have coverage for most anything for which you might need medical care, which you can receive locally.

At least don't do anything impulsive without the advice of an insurance agent familiar with WA insurance code.
