Sharee: It was only a few weeks ago, I believe, that you were concerned about periodic post-maze periods of afib. I am glad to hear that now, 6 months after your maze, that you are off amiodarone. That alone, is quite a treat, based upon my experience with it.

Those of you who are about to have the maze and ablations in the near future: REMEMBER Sharee. She did not have an immediate cure. It took her a few months, but, her testimonial now should offer you some comfort.

Also, remember that Sharee is a medical nurse for a cardiac surgeon and some cardiologists, so she didn't make her decision for the maze without some knowledge. Obviously, her "educated" opinion was that it was the right choice for her, and the results confirm it!

Congratulations Sharee! You will soon be rid of coumadin as well.
