I was feeling guilty after reading Jack's post so I thought I'd better do something here.
I have been off of all drugs now for about a week which is the first time this has happened in 14 years. I am in NSR at all times although I continue to have a few PVC's in the afternoon. I ran 7 this morning and continue to feel great. I have increasing confidence in the success of my procedure although in another week, I'll feel even more confident. Cleveland called and said that I can start running hard at 3 months. Once I've really tested the heart, I'll feel really good.
I have forgotten what AFib was like. I sometimes have a glass of wine with dinner and a cup of coffee in the morning. It's like being back to normal. In fact, it is back to normal. How can I be so lucky?
I know that a few of you are struggling a little bit more than I have so I hate to be so exuberant. But, I think about you and really want to read your updates. They give anyone contemplating the maze a more complete overview of what it's like.
