Gerald: I agree with Thomas in that you have made the right decision, ie: by taking charge of YOUR life, and not heeding the comments of doctors who don't want to recognize that there are afib solutions beyond their personal treatment protocols.
Just remember, you may not be one of the majority of mazers who leave the hospital in NSR forever. You might take some time to heal and stay in NSR, so don't be discouraged should this happen to you.
If your life has been disrupted by afib, you are likely to soon have a rebirth, the magnitude of which you can only imagine. It is great!
