Hi TC,

I did not see any improvement after getting off the propafanone. In fact, conditions got worse. My Dr. has recently switched me to digoxin (.25mg/day) and Atenolol (.25mg/day). Of course, I have remained on the coumadin. I did not stop the coumadin.

As for PAC's and PAT's. A PAC is Premature Atrial Contraction and I think a PAT is Paroxymal Atrial Tachycardia. My condition is such that I usally have several hours (20 to 28)of NSR, then I start having PAC's which later begin to be series of PAT's and eventually kick into AFIB. The AFIB lasts anywhere from 3 to 16 hours and I then return to NSR. Frustrating.

Could you let me know who the person is that went approx. 6 months before maintaining NSR?

TC, good to talk with you and best of luck with the skipped beats. I hope you get them under control soon and get off the coumadin.
