Jim, Sorry to hear things not going so well. I haven't had some of the problems you have had. I had full Maze III on 12-4-01 at THI in Houston. I have been in NSR since. However, I have a number of skipped beats --PVC's. Holter didn't show a lot of PAC's. Not sure what PAT's are. These have decreased over the last week or so. The EP had me try a small dose of Rythmol and it really helped the PVC's. I have been off the Rythmol for about 9 days. If necessary I would go back on it for awhile if the PVC's contiued to bother me. Did you mean your doing better after getting off the meds your on? I'm hopeful of getting off the coumidin when I see the Dr. the end of this month.

I did talk with a person who took about 6 months before he had a significant decrease in his A- Fib. I sure hope this works out for you real soon.
