(Frank! I think I (we all in a sense) have been subjected to some sort of odd bug - lacking a better word for it; I attempted to submit a reply but my text somehow got mixed up and replaced with Ed's reply - sorry about the confusion!)
Just wanted to comment that no one, layman or professional, has said anything about chronic Afib being a limiting factor for those considering the Maze. I suffered chronic Afib following a 2-3 year period of Afib attacks that lasted longer and came on more frequently for each passing year. The Maze (Feb -99 at age 39) has given me my life back and has meant everything that I could ever had hoped for (and then some...).
Good luck with your search for a solution to your problems.
Best regards,
Anders
