Hello TC!
I'm pretty sure that your difficulties will go away with time. What I'm NOT equeally sure of is the proper medical term for "skipped heart beats" (is that the same as "PVC"?). Anyway - I too suffered from rapid and skipped heart beats some time after the operation, roughly for about three months. My problems' disappearance coincided with my come back as a runner; when I started to run (jog initially, really) the skipped heart beats vanished. Coincidence? Perhaps. But I suspect that the heart, in my case, sort of needed to be "kick started" again (please, don't quote me on this! :-)).
Again - I'm sure you'll be fine once the heart heals up completely.

In conclusion I'd like to take this opportunity to send my best and warmest Season's greetings to each and everyone. Merry X-mas and a Happy A-fib Free 2002!

Ps. Incidentally, we're having a postcard Christmas this year here in Stockholm: cold (really cold) and lotsa' snow. Wonderful! Once I get rid of my cold, I'll be out cross-country skiing like crazy...
