I had the cut and sew procedure. My total procedure time was only 1 1/2 hours, however. Yes, I am now in NSR, but still on amiodarone (now decreased to 100mg. q.d.) and Coumadin - hopefully I will be through with these meds by February, and then only a baby aspirin a day. My exercise tolerance is improving. I am able to walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes at about 2.0 m.p.m. (I had to decrease it down from 30 minutes at 2.5 as that was one of the triggers that put me into A-fib about a month ago). I have not had any problems at this speed, however. Thanks for your quick reply and for welcoming me to "The Board!"
