Jim: Sorry to hear that you are still having some problems. I agree with Tony that it is important that EVERYONE post their experiences here, whatever they may be. While you certainly fall into that very small minority who have not had successful mazes (at 48 weeks), I would not give up hope by any means. A few others, such as Paul Johnson, have taken 3-7 months to finally get to NSR. Just keep hanging in there and doing as much exercise as you can, and keep us updated.
While we don't have the benefit of a scientific study, it still SEEMS as though more of the mini-maze recipients have longer post surgery times to get to NSR than those who had the open chest procedure.
