Carl/ Mike thanks for your reply. It appears I have the choice of either one at this time. It's a real decision time. I look at the ablation and think of a short recovery and then the Maze with longer recovery but may have better long term effect. Do you know if a ablation would prevent doing the Maze later? Carl why does the ablation tend to cause stenosis or poss. stroke compared to the Maze?
