Hi Jim:

I had my maze on 8/8/00 and am now off all meds and have been in NSR ever since discharge. However, I did want to respond to your concerns and let you know that in april of this year, I wore a monitor for a month because I felt I was having irregular patterns. I couldnt really define them medically, but things didnt always feel 'right'...My cardio suggested the King Of Hearts monitore, which showed nothing more than PVCs. Back then I was also getting the sensation of very faint beats, very rapid with excercise, etc. and other kinds of sensations that I dont even recall now and couldnt fully decribe. Overall, I am now free of these problems, but I still have a tendency to get slightly rapid /erratic when lying on my left side.
I found myself making the same kinds of notes and keeping records of my activities, etc...I think that over time you will find that these 'bumps' in the road will smooth out and a-fib will be nothing more than a distant memory!! My best to you!
