Also you will be able to get a good amount of information from the members. You just have to check everything out until you are satisfied that you are well informed.
I agree with your surgeon about the full open Maze being the most effective, but I think some here would disagree. The full open heart maze seems to gain a lasting NSR quicker than the minimal, but that is not saying that the minimal doesn't end up with as good a cure rate in the long run.
I am not familiar with your hypertrophic cardiomyophy, except that the heart is not pumping as it should.
Just keep us advised as to what is happening. Do you have anything set up on Status.com or anything to keep people updated?
