This is to answer some of Ed's questions, and if I make a mistake Pat correct me.
Pat is one of the earlier mazers who just recently posted on the board. She had her maze in 1994 and enjoyed about 6 years of NSR, and then had AF to return.
This is the only time I have ever heard of this happening to someone. It also gives us all something to remember for the future.
I know this is not a common thing to happen or we would have more reports of it.
Pat I sure hope that if you do have the ablation, it will solve your problem and you will return to the NSR community. Please keep us informed as to what you do and how it works out for you.
Also, have you ever heard of anyone else that has relapsed into AF after years of NSR.
I know I would go through the maze again if necessary to gain 6 more years of NSR, but I hope and pray that this will not be necessary for Pat, me, or anyone else.
Best wishes and prayers.
