They just now rolled her into the OR. I have her wedding ring around my neck as a constant reminder that something is happening to her.
THe doctor reconfirmed she has a 75% chance of a mitral valve repair in which case she will get the maze, if not NO maze. He won't know until he sees the condition of the tissue.
She was given a sedative, but personally I still think she could have used much more, she was still shaking. We did not get to meet hte great Dr. Cosgrove until she was int he gurney at the door to the OR where my father and I had to give her our kisses goodbye.
I am holding it together by a thread, but he seems so confident that she has nothing to worry about that I am ok.
Anyway, I am going now to eat something, I will check back in with you later....
