Dear Mike,
Your post makes me sad on your behalf. And also - of course - make me feel a sting of guilt that things have gone so well for me personally. Not that I believe that you intented for me or anyone to feel guilty of their success. But nevertheless. It's really sad to learn that your outcome so far has been a disappointment. Yes - you can really ask yourself "why?". Sometimes, I guess ("guess" is really the key word here), life is not fair. Some people who abuse their bodies live to be a 100 years old (not that I wish for anything else - that's not what I mean) while people who lead a healthy life run into all sorts of physical difficulties. Again - I guess that minute differences within our interior organs may be a factor as to "why"...I can't obviously offer anything more than my deepest sympathies. I still hope that you as well as anyone else understand that the "success stories" told here are there to boast the spirits of anyone who is about to go through with the Maze as well as those who are past it. In conclusion I really hope that you and the doctors will find a good solution for you. Please let us know how you are doing in the future. I wish you all the best.
Anders
