Michael I had a very similar problem with the heart rate. Mine was due to being anemic after the surgery, which is a common thing. My rate was in the 100 to 110 range. My surgeon said this is not unusual and put me on a high potency iron supplement. As soon as the blood was built up the heart rate came back to the normal.
