Good luck with the surgery. You are in the most capable of hands with Dr. McCarthy. He performed my maze in June of last year and I have been AF free ever since. A couple of points of interest since you will be in Cleveland for a few days prior to surgery. First, try to get to an Indians game. The Jake is a super ball park. second, the museums up by the hosptial are great and last, for a nice dinner try thr Cleveland Chop House on , I believe, St. Clair ave. In any event, our prayers will be with you.
