Carl and Pat have put it very nicely. I think that many of us became convinced that the maze procedure was for us because of the experience of the early contributors to the board. There are many names that posted their successes early on who I corresponded with and who provided me with the information and support that I needed. I am thankful to those people as well as the many others that are now part of the board on a regular basis. I wish that the medical community would read this board to get a better feel for what AFib is about and how its cure with the maze procedure can change people's lives. We all know that AFib is worse than doctor's think it is and many of us know that the maze is worth the risk for the significant quality of life it brings us. The trade off is more than worth it.

To Jack and John, I send my continuing thanks for their work. One of these days, I'll have to meet you guys. Where is my t-shirt?
