Well for the first time since my maze I am in normal sinus rhythm under my own power. Dr. Brown and his team seem to have done a fine job. The folks here at OSU have been very friendly and patient. The experience is not too bad so far. While I am still quite weak I can feel an inner strength that I have not experienced for some time. I can stand up without getting dizzy – I haven’t been able to do that for a long time.

I visited with Roger Meyer a couple of times – his discharge was delayed by some complications but he finally escaped yesterday.

Diane Buchele did take some digital pictures of my procedure and I will share them with the maze BBS later. I am having problems downloading them right now but my brain is still getting back up to speed.

Right now the plan is to remove the staples in my chest tomorrow and get out of here Tuesday.

The T-shirt is the only thing that’s missing. When I bungy jumped and sky dived I got a nice shirt – this is the most dangerous thing I have ever done (according to the mortality data) and no T-shirt! So fellow mazers are there any creative folks out there who can design a shirt for us?

Finally for now Anne & I really appreciate all the good wishes, and prayers.
