I went through a maze, and when I woke up, they said as they were carrying a plastic pail of blood out of the room,that I needed another open heart surgery to fix a leakey heart. When I woke up from my second open heart operation, I asked them if I had a blood transfusion-they said no. Your probably in better shape than I was as far as needing blood. Shoudn't be a problem: at the Cleveland Clinic they vacuum your spilt blood up and put it right back into you. Cool stuff these days.
