I had a maze to stop AFIB in November 2002,while having a mitral repair. I've been drug free, except for an 81 mg asprin, since they took me off coumadin and lopressor about 3 months after the operation. I am 68 and feel well. I walk a couple miles a day. I did not go to CC but had it done locally in a Phila suburban hospital. Good luck with your decision.
