I had the Maze on October 2, 2001. I was in normal sinus rhythm immediately post op and have never had a-fib since the suregery. I went off all meds, except a baby asperin each evening, within two months. I am 76 years old and working full time, which I could never have done prior to the Maze. Isn't that convincing?
